On the occasion of the centenary of this event, the city of Córdoba was chosen to hold the III Regional Conference on Higher Education for Latin America and the Caribbean (CRES2018) on June 14, 2018. This meeting was attended by more than ten thousand people. Students, professors, researchers, university officials from all Latin America were present.
